  1. Enterprise Onboarding

Enterprise Onboarding Journey

Enterprise onboarding in Apidog moves through three phases: secure access, API data migration, and workflow adoption. Complete each checkpoint before expanding to more users, Projects, or workflows.
If your implementation team is new to Apidog's Organization, Team, and Project structure, review Basic Concepts first.

Confirm your deployment#

Enterprises typically select a regional or deployment option during the sales process. Confirm that choice before sharing setup instructions.
Apidog SaaS — Global or Europe
Global and Europe use the same onboarding flow. The difference is data residency.
Apidog Europe
Apidog On-Premises
Apidog runs on your infrastructure and can differ slightly in feature availability. Use the self-hosting documentation for deployment and configuration, and Apidog Docs for shared features.

If you have not selected an option, contact Sales.

Follow the three-phase journey#

1. Secure enterprise access
Choose how users join, authenticate, and receive Team and Project access.
Checkpoint: Representative users have the intended access.
Open the phase guide
2. Migrate and validate API data
Import one representative API asset and verify the result.
Checkpoint: One pilot Project has been imported and validated.
Open the phase guide
3. Establish the team's workflow
Validate the real work the team will complete in Apidog.
Checkpoint: Representative users can complete the agreed workflow.

Open the task guides#

Use the phase guides for the recommended sequence. Open the dedicated pages when a task applies.

Make the key decisions#

Access: Choose direct invitations or SSO. Confirm whether SCIM applies.
Migration: Choose the source, pilot asset, target Project, and Project mode. Project mode cannot be switched after the Project is created.
Workflow: Name the first real workflow the pilot team must complete.
Network: If users need an enterprise Request Proxy Agent to reach private APIs, configure it at the Organization level under Organization Settings > Organization Resources. See Request Routing and Data Security.

Start with a pilot#

Confirm Apidog SaaS Global, Apidog SaaS Europe, or Apidog On-Premises.
Identify the administrator owner, representative users, and pilot Project.
Test representative Admin, Editor, and Read-only users, plus one user who should not have access to the pilot Project.
Import and validate one representative API asset.
Complete one agreed workflow and identify its ongoing owner.
